Chihkan Hall Guide Service is provided by Tainan City Government. It is based on iiiGuide service developed by Institute for Information Industry(III),Taiwan. iiiGuide, short for Integrated Individual Intelligent Guide Service System, provides a multimedia content guiding service for visitors to easily go on a self-guided tour of the museum or site. There are successful deployments in Europe, China, and Taiwan.Visitors can use their own smart phones to visit the Chihkan Hall to learn about the history and culture, and enhance Tainan City sight-seeing experience. Currently the system provides more than 21 contents, including rich text, photos, video clips for each point of interest. Visitors can enjoy the multimedia guide service by 3 simple methods, NFC contact-less touch, QRcode scan and simple number input. There is also a footprint page for visitors to revisit the exhibit content. After downloading the app, it takes few minutes to download the guide contents. Currently only Traditional Chinese service is provided. Additionally there are also activities and operation features for your to inactive with the museum or site.
